The Miniaturist
In Sight of Chaos (1971)
One old fellow was so honest He kept his clipped Toenails in a wooden chest.
Once he had been a sailor But inland he Could turn the weather
Into bottled air, He could Bottle the sea in miniature.
So when he looked to the west, Clippers in hand, The sun's wake was the worst
Passage he had to face. He was unable To cut or bottle that disgrace.
