Forgotten Language

How We Died (1970)

There are a few places left,

Still difficult to reach By land or sea or air.

I can Understand those places Without being there— Special words are needed, Forgotten languages.

Sometimes I lose myself Or the world, But I do touch down Eventually, On some extremity.

No one knows What is happening there, Or even if Anything at all Is happening.

Getting closer.
